About the Instructor
Branson Reynolds has a master's degree in biology and has also worked professionally in the field of southwestern archaeology. For over 30 years he has explored, studied, photographed and written about the Southwest. He has led photographic tours in this area for over 15 years, and his photography has appeared in publications such as Outside, Backpacker, Wilderness, Bugle, Wildlife Conservation, Outdoors, Outdoor Life, Time/Life books, the New York Times, LA Times, and many others. His photography has been exhibited in galleries in Santa Fe, San Francisco, Toronto, and his hometown of Durango, Colorado. His images were featured in three books - Among the Aspens, One Drive in a Million, and Cedar Mesa: A Place Where Spirits Dwell.
Accommodations
Motels. The trip includes six nights lodging from Sunday through Friday.

Restaurants: Participants are responsible for their own meals.
Attractions
Additional attractions on this trip include the historic old Spanish town of Socorro, the "Very Large Array", of radio telescopes made famous in the movie "Contact", Three Rivers Petroglyph site, and the National Space Museum.

Additional Rate Info
The trip fee of 1385 includes six nights double occupancy lodging. A single supplement of $250 is required for a private room. If you prefer to share a room but no other workshop participants are available you may be asked to pay the single supplement fee. Most participants prefer private rooms, but BRPA will work with participants to try and meet everyone's needs.

Notes
Participants are required to provide their own transportation to and from the point of origin for the trip. Carpooling is usually available during the tour.
Reservation Policy
Applications are accepted on a first-come first-served basis. Either full payment or a 50% deposit is required to reserve a space. Full Payment is required at least 30 days prior to the beginning of a trip. If a trip is not full you are welcome to sign up anytime prior to the beginning of the trip. Upon receipt of your completed application and deposit, you will be sent an itinerary and lodging information.
Cancellation Policy
If a trip is full or cancelled, your deposit will be returned in full. If you withdraw more than 60 days before a trip, your deposit will be refunded only if the vacated spot can be filled. However, the deposit can be applied towards any future trip. Application forms are available on the website and can be printed out and mailed or sent directly from the site.
