Overview

Coastal Biking Adventures specializes in small, distinctive, luxury bike tours with the added bonus of an award-winning photojournalist en route offering guidance, and an evening workshop. Seven-day adventures highlight the beautiful coastal areas of Rhode Island, Connecticut, and eastern Long Island, providing photographers an opportunity to capture the splendor in pictures.

The tours’ combination of bike and ferry over three states is a unique opportunity to discover and photograph the coastal islands of southern New England. Cyclists visit historic villages, seaside communities, and harbor towns opening a window into America’s colonial past. The trip includes deluxe inns, gourmet meals, wine tasting, private lighthouse tours and nature hikes.

The tour is fully supported by a van providing snacks, drinks, bike maintenance, and emergency assistance. Luggage is transported each day and awaiting guests upon their arrival. Two friendly guides, familiar with the terrain and history of the area, provide maps and detailed route information. Daily mileage is customized to reflect guests’ interest and fitness levels allowing them to move at their own pace and stop for pictures along the route.

Coastal Biking Adventures takes care of all the details... you enjoy the adventure.
