Join local professional photographers, J.C. Leacock and Dusty Demerson in one of western Colorado’s most renowned fall color locations - Kebler Pass and Crested Butte - and experience the aspens in their amazing autumnal glory.
This outing will feature four field sessions with lots of one-on-one training opportunities and group instruction. Most meals are provided, so you can experience even more time making images and getting all of your questions answered. While this is not a “Photoshop” class, Dusty and J.C. will welcome your workflow questions.
Composition, lighting, scouting, lens selection and much more will be covered by working photographers who know the area intimately. You’ll even learn some of their “secret” locations. Sign up early, class size is limited.

Program Itinerary
Day 1: Check In, Field Session, Slide Show and Dinner Get inspired with a short sunset excursion followed by slide presentation and dinner.
Day 2: Morning Field Session, Image Review, Evening Field Session Catch sunrise on aspen forests followed by an afternoon review and critique of images. Another sunset field session followed by dinner wraps up the day.
Day 3: Sunrise Field Session and Optional Afternoon Photoshop Session The final day begins with a sunrise shoot and there will be an optional afternoon Photoshop session to finish off your best images.

The basic schedule is highly dependant on weather conditions. Crested Butte Photography Workshops reserves the right to reschedule field sessions or substitute indoor programs if necessary. Similarly, they reserve the right to change meeting locations or restaurants to provide you with a better experience if necessary.
Reservation Policy
Space is extremely limited for this event. Please reserve your place as soon as possible. A 50% deposit will reserve your place with the balance due upon check-in. A 10% discount will apply if you choose to pay in full at least 60 days before the workshop.
Cancellation Policy
If you are forced to cancel 60 days or less before the workshop you will forfeit your deposit unless your place is filled from the waiting list. Your deposit is refunded if you cancel more than 60 days before the workshop.
