Overview
Full Circle Journeys ‘field workshops’ combine great locations with the opportunity to make images that capture the spirit of the people and cultures visited. The goal is to help you increase your ability to craft good images by expanding not only your technical skills, but your ability to interact with diverse cultures as well. Through image review and critique, demonstrations, daily discussions and individual instruction, learn how to make compelling images of some of the worlds most interesting cultures.
In all travel the possibility exists to take the experience and lessons learned, often from seemingly strange and exotic lands, and apply them to a western lifestyle. Full Circle Journeys’ wish is that every traveler continues to reap the benefits of a Full Circle Journey for years to come.
All serious photographers are welcome on a Full Circle Journey with the basic technical requirement of having a good working knowledge of their chosen equipment. Trips are designed to move your understanding and skills to the next level. Full Circle Journeys encourages and supports each participant’s individual vision and goals within the framework of the tour.
One area that differentiates Full Circle Journeys from other international photography tours is the emphasis on people and unique lifestyles and to a much lesser extent on wildlife and pure landscape imagery.
Their philosophy about travel is simple. In order to have the maximum experience photographically, Full Circle Journeys believes good accommodations, great food and comfortable conditions all around result in a well rested, happy traveler who is prepared to make their best images. Guests generally stay in four or five-star hotels, or best available accommodations in the more remote regions. Trips average six participants which is optimum for learning and sharing.
Welcome to the world of Full Circle Journeys!
