Overview
The studio of Cusco is unique and exotic. Nestled in the Andes of Peru at a little over 10,000 feet, the air is clear and the lights are bright. Removed from most modern intrusions, it retains a traditional bond with its indigenous past yet the tourism industry is strong and capable of serving the multitude of people drawn to Machu Picchu, the Inca Trail, the Amazon, the Andes and the Cusqueñan architecture, history and culture.
The people of Cusco are warm, welcoming and generous. An unrivaled ethnic and cultural pride is present in festivals, markets and everyday street activity. Focused topics and small groups lend a better understanding of the special richness of the place and the people of Peru and helps program leaders and participants find opportunities that most others overlook.

The home-base system at photographer and program director Adam L. Weintraub's family-owned B&B provides constant comfort and convenience for the active days you spend finding opportunities where they lie. Reservation Policy
To reserve your space in a PhotoExperience workshop in Peru, a deposit of $350 is required at the time of registration. Once your deposit has been received you will be admitted to the workshop of choice and you will be sent a detailed itinerary. PhotoExperience will send you a statement of your account, with the balance due, 60 days prior to the start of the workshop, though full balance can be made at time of registration. Final payment of your balance will be required 60 days prior to start of any workshop. No further registrants will be accepted after this date due to Machu Picchu travel restrictions. Number of registrants limited to 12, unless otherwise stated.
Cancellation Policy
PhotoExperience relies on your attendance to make important arrangements, so if for any reason you need to withdraw, please provide notification at least 60 days before the start of your workshop. At that time your deposit will be refunded, less a $150 cancellation fee. If notification of cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the start of the workshop, PhotoExperience must retain 50% of the workshop fee. If notification of cancellation is made less than 30 days before the start of the workshop there will be no refund.
Travel insurance is highly recommended. PhotoExperience reserves the right to cancel a reservation if full payment has not been received by 45 days before the start of the workshop, your deposit would then be forfeited. PhotoExperience is not responsible for cancellations due to medical emergencies. In the event that a workshop must be canceled due to inadequate enrollment, all fees and deposits are refunded in full or may be transferred to another workshop within 12 months. PhotoExperience is not responsible for reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets in the event of a workshop cancellation.
