Y explore Yosemite Adventures is a socially responsible company offering Professionally Guided Hiking Tours and Photography Workshops in Yosemite National Park. They will provide educational services that follow Leave No Trace principles and ensure that the ecology of the park will not be compromised.
A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE - Photograph Yosemite from a different perspective. Sharpen your skills and learn interesting techniques from Y explore Yosemite Adventures’ richly talented mentors while shooting in exciting locations throughout the park. Y explore’s unique Yosemite Photography Workshops present opportunities to take control of your camera and achieve your artistic goals in the natural setting of Yosemite National Park. Subjects of workshops and photo field sessions may include granite monoliths and domes, waterfalls, wildflowers, black bears, and other wildlife.
PHOTO SESSIONS - Interpretive educational sessions are available to everyone with an interest in photography and a love of the outdoors. Clients may have input in choosing subjects they would like to shoot as well as topics they would like to have covered. Y explore’s professional Photo Guides have lived and worked in the park for over 20 years and will help you discover locations that you may not find on your own.
HIKING TOURS - Make a lifelong connection hiking Yosemite National Park. Y explore’s guided Yosemite Hiking Tours range from gentle half-day journeys that uncover natural beauty only seen on a particular trail to all-day treks that deliver rewarding vistas and true accomplishments. Strenuous hikes are also available to satisfy demanding eco tourists who strive for extraordinary challenges.
Y EXPLORE GUIDES - Each proven leader possesses fundamental outdoor survival skills and a wealth of experience hiking, backpacking, and guiding throughout Yosemite's wilderness. All guides are required to obtain first aid training and complete Leave No Trace outdoor ethics courses. Y explore’s accomplished photo guides specialize in natural photography and have attained several publishing credits. Every guide also owns a vast knowledge of Yosemite's terrain, which allows Y explore to offer many unique specialty outings throughout the park in all seasons.
Y EXPLORE TOURS - Certified wilderness guides provide security and safety while exploring Yosemite's scenic terrain. Richly experienced photography guides focus on offering expert advice to clients while shooting in prime locations within the natural setting of the park. They outfit every tour with communication devices, navigation tools, and first aid equipment.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy - We run our tours in all weather without canceling. The only way we cancel a tour is if park roads are closed due to extreme weather conditions.
We require 14 days advanced notice to cancel a tour for a refund. We will charge a transaction fee commensurate to the amount of charges we incur and will refund the difference. Refunds are not offered to those who cancel within one week but consideration will be given based on the circumstances of an emergency.
Bad Weather Policy - Although we do rarely cancel tours for bad weather, we would invite you back on a future tour at a discounted price. The size of the discount would depend on the severity of weather and the ability to succesfully complete the tour.
